This has always been the case with Raid IDs. This whole, “raid ID” thing the other players are going about are wrong. You get a pop-up stating you’ll be kicked from the instance because you’re no longer with the group. why would that happen if you were supposed to be able to stay as you suggest?? Lost my lockout this week to mythic because someone that got kicked for dying to mechanics decided they want to stay inside for literally almost an hour pulling the boss over and over again. Read the Blue posts, and stop sharing false information. Then you absolutely should leave a suggestion in the proper forum, or using the in-game tool.

Attempting to fight a boss is a perfectly acceptable action.
Someone was salty that they got kicked, and decided to continue pulling the boss over and over again to wipe the group. This is awesome, but how about for all the other disks on the system? It’s scummy that they did this, but yeah, would be great to see it fixed. You also conveniently missed these responses: if they have the Raid ID they are able to get there as much as anyone else.
Hell, for a while, this even could happen cross-faction, when faction changing used to not reset raid lockouts. Next » WoW Shadowlands Release Date Announced!! The kicked player could create their own raid group and stay in if they wanted to, since they have the exact same raid ID you do. Anyone saved to it has the right to continue. Like do you guys realize how ridiculous it sounds that someone who’s kicked should be able to grief 19 other people because “they have the right to attempt the lockout”. I have used this script to extract information about the controller used for booting the operating system and only that controller. If they’re pulling the boss onto the group, that’s something they’d get involved in. The raid id is wrong if you mean thats keeping them in the instance after getting kicked.
